Ifeanyi Nwanonaku is a Nigerian-Canadian writer, podcast host, and cultural explorer based in Calgary, Alberta. Through The Catalyst, he sparks honest conversations about African identity, legacy, power, and the process of becoming in a post-colonial world.After 12 years navigating life between Nigeria and Canada, Ifeanyi is on a mission to recover the indigenous wisdom and philosophy his generation was never taught. His work examines the cost of cultural erasure, the courage required to question inherited beliefs, and the path toward conscious self-discovery.

Through writing and conversation, he documents his journey while inviting others—Africans in the diaspora, cultural questioners, and anyone grappling with identity—to join him in exploring who we are beneath what we were told to be. He lives in Calgary with his wife and daughter, for whom he’s learning what it means to live authentically and wholly in the modern world.
